Caroline Bloom is an award winning French-American actor and writer based in Los Angeles. Raised by a French mom and American dad, she is trilingual in English, French and Italian.

As a writer her shorts include: DA CAPO, which screened at over a dozen festivals including Cleveland International FF and was distributed by Gravitas Ventures, and COMMON DECENCY, for which she won a screenwriting prize at Pittsburgh Shorts and was nominated Best Actress in a Short at FilmQuest 2021. Her dark comedy short she co-wrote/co-stars with Stephanie Drake, BABY FACE, offers a commentary on our youth obsessed film industry and is currently on the film festival circuit. Her psychological feature, FURIES, was a quarter finalist on ScreenCraft Drama and Finish Line competitions. Her humor writing has been featured on the comedy platform The Belladonna.

As an actor she's appeared in HBO Max' THE STAIRCASE starring Colin Firth and HBO’s HERE AND NOW directed by Alan Ball. She did the lead motion capture and voice acting for the French role of Manon Batiste in Respawn’s MEDAL OF HONOR: ABOVE AND BEYOND, directed by Peter Hirschmann. She'll next be seen opposite Nathalie Emmanuel in Francis Ford Coppola's MEGALOPOLIS.

 

Passionate about independent film, she's also programmed shorts and worked with the LA Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, FICG in LA, and the No Budget Film Festival in LA.  

Caroline hails from Northampton, MA and has a BFA in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
